Born in Porto Alegre, Brazil, to Japanese parents, Chie Mihara moved to Japan at eighteen to study fashion design in Fukuoka before working with designer Junko Koshino in Tokyo.
She later studied accessory design at FIT in New York City and worked in the footwear industry before heading to Spain, drawn to its shoemaking craftsmanship. This blend of cultures and experiences shaped her way of seeing the world and creating within it.
Rather than following trends, Chie draws on what she believes in, sees, and finds inspiring. Her work is deeply personal, expressing who she is, how she thinks, and what she wants to share.
